Position Details:

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a global brand providing a variety of machinery for the construction and mining industries.

HCA's Brisbane Branch has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Technical Services Analyst to join our dynamic Fleet Management System team.

Reporting to the National Project Manager, the core focus for this position will be to deliver high quality support to our customers on our Wenco suite of Fleet Management technologies. This role will be best suited to the personable professional who is determined in developing positive partnerships with customers and determined to deliver Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in incident triage with customer, consultants and specialists to attain the highest possible level of customer satisfaction and fault restoration
  • Follow established processes to meet these requirements in a professional, expert and responsive manner;
  • Respond to customer enquiries within expected timeframes and SLAs;
  • Escalate where resolution cannot be achieved within an effective and timely manner and in accordance to internal SLA's;
  • Experience in troubleshooting and thinking out of the box will serve you well in this role.
  • Provisioning of new customers including installation, configuration and documentation of Windows Server environments, Microsoft SQL Server and Wireless networks
  • Diagnosis of reported issues and accurate database management with resolution reporting
  • Participate in providing formal troubleshooting and installation training to our customers, and staying current with your knowledge of our system

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge & Skillset: Previous experience with virtualisation products such as the WMWare product suite and CITRIX
  • Technical Experience: Hands on experience with the use of scripting to automate tasks
  • Demonstrated high level hardware installation, software configuration and commissioning skills
  • Understanding of networking protocols and technologies (WAN, LAN & Wireless)
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and Microsoft Project.
