CablePrice NZ Ltd is the exclusive authorised dealer in New Zealand for Hitachi Construction Machinery, John Deere Construction and Forestry Equipment, Bell Equipment, HSC Cranes and McCloskey Equipment. We are also an authorised Service Dealer for Scania Trucks and Buses. Due to the continued success at CablePrice (NZ) Ltd we have an exciting opportunity for a new Service Advisor. This new role is integral to the success of CablePrice and we are looking for someone who want to work with the best, are passionate about excellent customer service and want a successful future with CablePrice.

The Service Advisor is responsible for providing a complete solution for the delivery of maintenance of service work to customers to ensure the customer experience is positive and maximised. You can be part of a wonderful new solution for customers and you get to work with some great people.

You will become the single point of contact for the customer, providing relevant, accurate and timely information through each stage of the service process, ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Work on after sales profitability using professional sales techniques
  • Work closely with the workshop to maximise utilisation of resources
  • Manage the work in progress (WIP) in partnership with the workshop
  • Liaise with customers professionally both in person and by phone and keep them informed of progress with any jobs
  • Proactive service scheduling

To be successful in this role, the Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated sales and customer service experience - strong stakeholder engagement capabilities is essential 
  • Genuine desire to deliver quality service as you develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • A motivated and ambitious commitment to meet and exceed sales targets whilst engaging with all parts of the business
  • Strategic and Analytical capability to assess value, including the use of CRM
  • Confident, courteous and professional communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously and a current driver's license

Knowledge of the automotive or heavy transport industry would be desirable and will prove beneficial.
