Position Details:

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, dynamic and energetic individual to join our new Special Products team. If you thrive on the challenge of a diverse role, are flexible and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines then you could be the person we are looking for.

Based at Head Office (Wellington) and reporting to the Dealer Principal/ National Sales Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring of market pricing for our Isuzu, McCloskey Quarry and Construction Equipment, HSC Cranes and specialised engineering products and attachments
  • Ordering inventory for Special Product Divisions Brand - Plant, Chassis and Machinery plus all accompanying Parts inventory to support the equipment in service
  • Reporting on key market performance indicators such as metrics, analysis and interpretation of trends, including general economic indicators.
  • Designing market research projects to assess customer attitudes to product ranges and new product introductions
  • Ensuring that all machinery specifications supplied to the customer meets all applications and legal requirements
  • Manage both Asset inventory and Parts inventory

We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with high personal standards and integrity. You will have a passion for providing exceptional internal and external (customer) service which will enable you to consistently follow through on promises and exceed the expectations of our valued customers. You will be a "big picture" thinker, committed to partnering with all internal and external Stake holders to better understand their business's needs, which will drive improved efficiencies and cost reductions across the board.

You will have:

  • A proven history in successful inventory management
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a talent for building excellent relationships with internal and external stake holders
  • Sound commercial acumen and a high level of professionalism
  • Competent with data tools and forecasting tools
  • Industry experience with Machinery, HCV, Automotive and or Parts business will be advantageous
  • Quarry and Construction Equipment knowledge will be advantageous
  • Engineering Products and or Attachments knowledge will be advantageous
